PRAYER FOR TODAY - December 3, 2013 (Asking God To Help Us, Forgive Us, and To Show Us)

Father help us to see.  Father help us to see our need for you.  Father you are so faithful and so often we try so hard to do it on our own.  Father help us to see.   Help us to see that we are nothing and can do nothing on our own.   Father we need you.  We need you to move for us, in us, and through us.   We need you to show us who you are and what you want us to do.   We need you to make a way where there seems to be no way.   Father we need you to live, to breathe and to have our being.  Father we need you.  

Father forgive us where we have forgotten or failed to acknowledge our need for you.  Forgive us where we put our trust in self instead of in you.  Forgive us where we failed to be faithful.   Father forgive us.   Show us your way Father so that we can fulfill your will.   Thank you Father for what you have done and are doing in and through our lives.   In Jesus name.  Amen.
