Father thank You for this brand new day.   Thank You for waking us up and for leading and guiding us on our way.   Thank You Father for showing us what You would have us to do today.

Father today we lift up our family and our friends before You.   We ask that You watch over them, lead them, guide them, heal them, and deliver them.   Father we ask that You strengthen them and bless them as only You can.    Father do in them and for them what only You can.    Father we ask that You bring healing to their lives.

Father we also ask that You bring healing to our lives.    Father You know everything that we have need of.   Father we ask that You bring healing to us physically, spiritually, financially, and mentally.   Father Your Word says that You are the God that heals us.   It says that everything we have need of we have in You.   So right now Father we ask that You do what only You can do.   We ask that You bless as only You can bless.   We ask that You make a way like only You can.

Thank You Father for all that You have done and are doing in and through our lives in Jesus name ... Amen.

PRAYER FOR TODAY - February 20, 2018 (Pleading The Blood Of Jesus and Asking God To Strengthen Us In Areas Where We Have Proven To Be Weak)

Father thank You for this new day.   Thank You for leading us, guiding us, and for directing us.   Father thank You for the blood covering.   Right now Father we plead the blood of Jesus over our lives, over our spouses, over our children, over our families, over our friends, over our churches, over our homes, over our cars, over our jobs, and everything else that concerns us in life.   Father thank You for the blood.  For we know that the blood shields us and protects us.   We know that it heals us and it breaks every chain of bondage in our lives.   Thank You Father.

Thank You for Your supernatural peace that surpasses all of our understanding.   Thank You for strengthening us to wait on You.   Father there have been so many times in our lives where we failed to wait and we ended up in faith failure.   Father, teach us to be still and to wait on You.   Father strengthen us in the areas where we have proven to be weak.      Father do in us, for us, and through us what only You can in Jesus name ... Amen.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Acts 9:1-22
King James Version (KJV)
And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,
And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.
And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:
And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.
And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.
And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.
10 And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.
11 And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth,
12 And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.
13 Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:
14 And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.
15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
16 For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake.
17 And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.
18 And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.
19 And when he had received meat, he was strengthened. Then was Saul certain days with the disciples which were at Damascus.
20 And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God.
21 But all that heard him were amazed, and said; Is not this he that destroyed them which called on this name in Jerusalem, and came hither for that intent, that he might bring them bound unto the chief priests?

22 But Saul increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews which dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is very Christ.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Philippians 3:10-14 King James Version (KJV)

10 That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death;
11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
