PRAYER FOR TODAY - December 24, 2013 (Thanking God For Giving Us The Only Perfect Gift)

Father thank you.   For your word says that unto us a child is born and  unto us a Son is given.   Thank you Father for giving us your child ... your Son ... our Savior.   We love you Lord.    We thank you and we praise you.   

Isaiah 9:6

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

 

Father there is none like you.   No one compares to you and your word.   You are Jehovah.   The Almighty God.   You not only designed our future ... you made ready everything that was needed for our future.   Father you put our rescuer in place before we even knew that we needed to  be rescued.   Father you covered our lives with the blood of  Jesus.   You gave us the name of Jesus to call upon in our times of distress.   Father you are God.   Every good and every perfect comes from you.   For the only perfect gift there is ... is Jesus.  Thank you for giving us your Son to die that we may have eternal life.   In Jesus name.  Amen.
