I feel like my family has been under attack for the last 6 months. My
husband lost his job at the beginning of July. Since then financially we
have had huge struggles. On top if this my husband broke his ankle, my
son broke his hand and my daughter suffered a concussion. During all of
this I have confessed all sin, and have been desperately seeking God.
Then last Friday I got the call from a friend telling me there was an
active shooter in my son's high school. (Arapahoe High School) He is now
fearful and dealing with all emotions associated with this event. He
came out if the building with blood on his shoes and a raging fear in
his heart. I am thankful he was not hurt! Now it is Christmas and
because of the shooting and very very tight finance I can't feel any
joy. I am anxious and worried. I can't find peace which I am praying for
and am seeking from a ton if time in God's word. I am not sure what I
am doing wrong...I really need to feel God right now. I am desperate for
Him. Please pray for me and my family.
Daily Moments With God Prayer
Father we bind up every attack against this family right now. Father we
plead the blood of Jesus over them and around them. Father they need
you right now. Father help them. Help them to know, see, and to do
your will. As they walk in obedience to you Father I pray for divine
protection for them and around them. Father honor your word in their
lives and lift up the standard. For you said when the enemy comes in
like a flood ... you will lift up a standard. Father lift the
standard. Do it now Father. Keep them now Father. Protect them now
Father. In Jesus name. Amen.
