PRAYER FOR TODAY - November 25, 2011 (That We No Longer Try To Author Our Own Lives ....But Allow God To Be Author and Finisher Of All That We Do)

Thank you Lord.   Thank you for waking us up.  Thank you for loving us.   thank you for trusting us today Father.   Father you are good and you are worthy to be praised.   From the rising of the sun to the going down of the same.   You Lord....are worthy to be praised.    Father we lift you up today.   We lift up our perception of who you are.   We place you in the place of authority over our lives today.   No longer trying to "author" our own lives.....but allowing you to be author and finisher of everything that we do.    Father our trust is totally in you.   We trust you to heal us.   To keep us.   To provide for us.   For that is who you are.   You are Jehovah Jireh.   You are Jehovah Shalom.   You are Jehovah Ropha.    Father you are your word and we speak your word today.   Therefore we know that you are present in our lives.    You are present because your word says that you will never leave us .... nor forsake us.    Father thank you for being your your word today.  

Heavenly Father, I lift up your children before you today.   Asking that you comfort their souls today.   Their minds, their wills, and their emotions.   That you protect their bodies today.   Both physically and spiritually.    Father I ask that you be their God today.   The one whom they go to and they trust to meet all the needs in their lives.   Father help your children see you.    Help them wrap their mind around you.   Let their emotions be motivated by their love for you Father.   For you are God and above you there is no other.  

Father we love you today.    We thank you for showing us what true love is.   Thank you for revealing to us what  it means to sacrifice yourself for the ones you love.   For Father you gave it all for us.   You sacrificed your Son for us.   I pray that we truly understand the sacrifice that was made.   For in your sacrifice for us is everything we need.    The blood covers it all.    There is power in the blood of Christ.    Power to save, power to heal, and power to reveal.     Thank you for the blood that was shed so that we could live.   

Father.....we ask that you cleanse us today.   Cleanse our hearts.   Cleanse our minds.   Cleanse our bodies.   We uproot bitterness, hurt, and deceit.   We call forth peace, love, and joy.   Father we uproot sickness and disease.   We call forth healing and peace.  Let your fruit be manifested in our lives.  

We trust you Daddy and we ask all these things in Jesus' mighty and majestic name.    Amen.
