PRAYER FOR TODAY - February 16, 2012 (Prayer of Thanksgiving and Asking God To Move In The Lives Of Our Family and Friends)

Thank you Lord for all that you are and all that you have done.   Thank you for your goodness .... for your grace .... for your love and for your mercy.   Father you are so good.   Father you are awesome.   You are King of Kings and Lord of Lords.   Father thank you for loving us unconditionally.   There are no conditions on your love for us.   You love us through our faults.   Through our pain.  Through our hurts and disappointments.   Father you still love us.   Father thank you for never turning your back on us.   Though we make mistakes .... Father you wait on us.....you patiently wait on us to get it right.   You wait on us to see you clearly.   Father you wait because you want us to see your salvation.   You want us to abide in you.   Thank you Father.   Thank you for teaching us how to wait on you.   Teach us how to wait in your presence for the things we want in life.    Teach us Father how to be steadfast and unmovable.   Not deterred by the things that are going on around us.   Not moved by "life".   The situations and the circumstances that come up during our walk with you.   Help us Father to remain focused.   Focused on you.   

Father we lift up our family and friends before you today.   We ask that you move in them and for them like never before.    Father we pray that you become a light in their homes like never before.   Father help them to see you more clearly.   For those who are walking in your word ... increase their knowledge of who you are.   Increase their understanding and confirm your word within them Father.   For those who have not yet come to know you Father .... we ask that you send laborers to them.    Father we pray for Christ encounters today.   Where they will come in contact with you and your word.   Where they will see that you are real.   Where they will hear your word and it pierce their hearts and cause them to cry out to you and for you.    Where they will praise you like never before.   

Father we ask that you heal their bodies and meet their needs.   That your word be opened to them and that your plan be revealed to them.    Let them see you Daddy.   Let them see you through our lives.   Through our walk and through our talk.   Let our lives be a reflection of who you are.    Let the wisdom and insight that you have placed on the inside of us be alive today.   Let us know what to say and when to say it.   Let our words minister to the hearts and minds of those around us.    Let your life flow freely through us today.   

In Jesus name we do pray.   Amen.
