PRAYER FOR TODAY - January 2, 2012 (That God Help Us To Become Established In Him.....and For Our Leaders To Be Led By God)

Father thank you for a new day in you.   A day where we can lay it all down and give it all over to you.   Give over our lives .... give over our motives ..... give over the things we have been reserving for "self".   For our own motives and our own motivation.    Father thank you for showing us today that it's not about us....what we want and how we want to do it.   It's all about you.    It's all about fulfilling your will, your plan, and your purpose in the earth.   

Help us Father.   Help us to see what you have established in us.    Let our foundation be solely you and not the things we have created within ourselves.   Let our foundation be based on your word.   Let our life be lived in your word.   Let our mind be established in your word.    Father today we say....not our will but thy will be done.   Let your will be done in us today.   Let your will be seen in us today.    Let your will be established in us today.

Father the word established keeps coming back.   To be established.   Father it means to be accepted as true.   Yes Father .... let your word be accepted as true in our lives today.     

Father we ask that you go before us today.   That you make every crooked place straight.   That the power of your word overtake us today.   That we walk in your healing and your provision today.   Father we lift up our leadership today ..... whether it be government officials, pastors, teachers, parents, supervisors.....any one in a position of authority over us Father.....we lift them up before you today.   We pray that they will seek your face and follow your direction as they lead.    Father we pray that they will be leaders being led by you.    Father help them to see you today.  Father we pray that they totally surrender to you today.   

Father we trust you today.   We believe you today.   We ask that you just be who you are in our lives.   Reveal to us anything and all things that are not in line with your word and your will and give us the strength to make the necessary corrections and change.   

We love you Lord and it in Jesus name we do pray.   Amen.
