PRAYER FOR TODAY - January 23, 2012 (Asking God To Lead Us, Guide Us, Shield Us, and Protect Us)

Thank you Lord.   Thank you for a new day in you.   A new day to live for you.   To love for you.   To care for you Father.   A new day to speak your word.   To believe your word.   To trust your word.   Father its all new in you.   Thank you Father for you said that your mercies are renewed every day.   Thank you Father for today .....we walk in your mercy.....your goodness.....and your grace.   We walk in your love and your kindness.   We walk in your goodness.    Today we have another opportunity to tell somebody about you.    About how you saved us.   About how you kept us.   About how you helped us when we didn't know what to do.   Today we have another opportunity to raise our hands and to give you praise.    Thank you for your love today.    For showing us mercy and allowing us to see another day.   

Father today we go about our day asking that you lead us .... that you guide us ..... that you shield us .... and that you protect us.   Father teach us how to be strong in you.   When the world seems to be coming at us on every side Father ..... pour out your strength.    Reassure us of your love.   Wrap your arms around us and let us feel your protection.    Father you said in your word ..... after we do all that we know to do ..... you would do the rest.   We need you Daddy.   We need you to intervene.    We need you to intervene in our bodies.   We need you to intervene in our finances.   We need you to intervene in our lives.    Where the enemy is trying to cause us to fail Father.....you said that you would raise up a standard against him.   That you would be our shield and our buckler.   Father do what you said that you would do.   Be who you are.

Now Father we lift up our family and our friends before you.   We ask that you guide them Father.   Guide them and protect them Father.    Father you said that you would watch over everything that concerns us.   Father these your children concern us.    We ask that you heal them, deliver them, set them free father.    Father heal us, deliver us, set us free Father.    We surrender Daddy.   We surrender to your life......to your plan......to your purpose.......and to your will.    We surrender all.    

Father there is none like you.   There is no one that compares to you.    We love you Daddy.   Be who you are and do what you do in and through our lives today.    In Jesus name we do pray.   Amen.
