PRAYER FOR TODAY - January 9, 2012 (Prayer That Unity and Love Prevail In Families)

Good Morning God.    Thank you for welcoming us to a new morning with you.   For waking us up and allowing us to enjoy and be in your presence.   For showing us your love and your devotion to us.   Father you are so good and you are so committed to your love for us.   Father thank you for sending your Son to die for us.   Thank you for providing the ultimate sacrifice through the sacrifice of your Son.   Father you are so good.    We love you Lord.   We praise you Lord.   We lift you up and we honor you Lord.    From the rising of the sun to the going down of the same  ..... we will praise your name.    You are holy....you are righteous.....you are good.   Father you are God and you are God alone.   

Father we lift up families before you today.   We lift up fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers, sons, daughters, cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, grandparents......the entire entity of what makes up family Father.   We lift it up before you.   Father we pray for peace in families.   We pray for restoration of relationships in families.   Father we pray for healing in families.    Father you have shown us what family truly is.....so Father we pray that people throughout the world will use your example today and walk in love.   Laying aside every hurt, every argument, everything that has come up as a standard in their households and in their families.    Father let people throughout this world see that you are the foundation for family.   Let them see your love and operate in who you are concerning their communication with one another.   

Father we bind up where the enemy has been busy trying to bring division in families.   Father we bind up and cast down everything that the enemy is using to bring dissension and discouragement.    Father let your peace prevail.   Father we loose your love today.   We loose your peace.   We loose your protection.   We pray for unity and love to prevail in your children and that this same unity and same love will be the binding force for families throughout the world. 

In Jesus name we do pray.   Amen.
