PRAYER FOR TODAY - October 20. 2026 (Asking God To Help Us Make The Right Choices)

God thank You. Thank You for Your love, Your peace, Your power, and Your protection. Thank You for watching over us, for shielding us, for protecting us, and for providing for us. Thank You Father for not giving up on us. Father there have been many times in our lives where we just didn't do right. There have been times when we mistakenly did wrong but there have also been times when we chose to do wrong. Father forgive us. Help us now. Help us to make the right choices in life. Help us to discern good from evil. Help us to honor You in all that we do and in all that we say.

Father we need You. We need to to make a way where their appears to be no way. We need You to open doors set that no man can close. We need You to close the doors that no longer need to be open. We need You to manifest Your glory in and through our lives.

Father today is a new day and today we choose to honor You. We choose to worship You. We choose to live our lives according to Your Word. Father we choose You and because we choose You, we know that we're making the right choice in life. No one can do for us what You do. We ask that You take care of all that concerns us. Do what only You can do in Jesus name, amen.

But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.
