Today is a new day and today Father I pray that You give us Your peace that surpasses all of our understanding. Your Word says that You are Jehovah Shalom, the Lord God our Peace, and we need You to show Yourself as just that in our hearts, our minds, our lives, our families, our homes, our cities, our states, and throughout this world. Father we are asking You now to calm the storms of life.
Father You told us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. We do that right now. We pray right now that wars cease and peace abounds. Father, we know that You are God and we know that You can do all things. Now Father we ask that You bring healing to the land. Heal the ground of our heart. Heal where we have become hard-hearted, plow us with Your Word and fill us with Your love. Father heal our families, heal our friends, and heal this world. Not just physical healing but spiritual healing, mental healing, and financial healing as well.
Father show Yourself strong in the earth. Let Your people see that You are watching over Your Word to perform it in our lives in Jesus' name, amen.

Psalm 122:6-9
6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
7 Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.
8 For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.
9 Because of the house of the Lord our God I will seek thy good.
