PRAYER FOR TODAY - December 2, 2016 (Laying Down Our Perception Of How We Think Things Should Be and Asking God To Help Us Wait and Rest In Him)

Thank You Father for helping us to press on.   Father it gets hard sometimes when we don't know what to do or which way to go and we thank You right now for helping us to press on.   Father thank You for helping us to see people, places, and things through Your eyes.    Father we want to see beyond the hurt and beyond the pain.   We want to see with eyes of love and a heart of forgiveness.   Help us Father to see things Your way.

Right now Father we lay down our ideas and our ideals.   For our ideals Father are our perceptions of what we think should be.   Father we no longer want things our way.   We want the things in our lives to work out according to Your plan and to work out Your way.   Help us Father to wait and to rest in You.

Father You are God alone.   We know that You see all, know all, and can do all things.   Father we ask that You do in and for us what only You can.    Father we ask that You bring healing to our hearts, minds, and bodies.   Father thank You for Your divine deliverance.   Thank You Father for making a way where there appeared to be no way and right now Father we thank You for showing Yourself strong in every area of our lives.  

Father You are faithful and we love and adore You.   It is in Jesus name that we do pray ... Amen.
