Prayer for Marriages (Ministered/Written By Teesha Boozer)
Father I thank you for marriages and the marriage covenant. I thank you that you established marriages as a covenant between a man and woman. I ask that you bless marriages. I come against division in the marriages. Let the snake of deception and division be cast out of the marriages. I declare that strife, envy, hatred, anger, hurt, disappointment, jealousy and selfishness will be loosed from every Godly marriage. Let every couple bow their knee to Jehovah and renounce all other gods trying to rule them and their marriage.. Let every marriage couple renounce selfishness, bitterness, backstabbing, and lust. Let them take up their cross and carry Love, Joy and Peace into their homes.
I pray that every person that is in a bad marriage surrenders to you and understand the power of Love - it is a consuming FIRE! Father send your angels to rescue marriages. I bind adultry, multiple partners and sexual perversion in ...the bedroom. We pray that the eyes of the marriage couple is for Jesus and one another, not porn and the world system. Let the man and woman cleave to one another.
I come against the false mindsets and images depicted on TV for marriages. Let the couples begin to seek the word for Godly counsel and not the counsel of the ungodly.
Father, I ask you to heal our land. We repent for selfishness and the sins that cause marriage discord and separation. We invite your Holy Spirit in the midst of our marriages. Be in our homes, conversations and bedrooms. Let communication be Godly and acceptable in your sight. Guide us into the truth of our relationship with you so that we can love our partners and communicate in Love. Let us submit to one another and Love our spouse as you have commanded.
I pray your reconciling power be established in the life of every marriage. Thank you Jesus for victory. We cast the cares of our marriage upon you and trust you will take care of it because you care for us. Even when it's hard we choose the word over our fleshly desires. We obey your word because we love you. Thank you for your full life and glory in our marriages. Amen!
