PRAYER FOR TODAY – November 26, 2019 (Leaning Not To Our Own Understanding and Asking God To Direct Our Paths and To Do What Only He Can In Our Lives)

Thank You Father for Your steadfast and unchanging love.   Thank You for Your peace, power, and presence.   Thank You for leading us, guiding us, and for directing us.   Thank You for delivering us from the onslaught of the enemy.

Father, you are God alone.   You are Jehovah Jireh our Provider.   You are Jehovah Shalom our Peace.   You are the One who sees all, knows all, and can do all things.    Thank You Father for always making a way for us.   Thank You for strengthening us and for blessing us.   Thank You Father for never leaving nor forsaking us.

Father today we ask that You go before us and make our crooked places straight.   Father thank You for being our guide and thank You for having our back.   For You are our rearguard.  Thank You Father for helping us to grow in You.   Father it is our desire to stand strong in faith.   We want to stand trusting, believing, and waiting on You to perform Your Word in our lives.   Father we need You and we acknowledge our need for You right now.

Father You said in Your Word that You know the things we have need of and You are faithful and just to provide us with those things.   You said that You are the God that heals us and we know that You can do that right now.   You said that Your joy is our strength and we pray that You fill us with Your joy so that we can prove to be strong in You.  Father You said that You would give us peace in the midst of the storms of life and we pray that You give us the peace that surpasses our understanding from every storm we are experiencing in our lives.  You said that if we trust You and lean NOT to our own understanding that You will direct our paths and our trust is completely in You because we know that we cannot live this life without You.   Father we ask that You do in, for, and through us what only You can in Jesus name … Amen.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Proverbs 3:5-6
King James Version (KJV)
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
