PRAYER FOR TODAY - January 21, 2017 (Praying For This World and Every Authoritative Figure)

Thank You Father for Your steadfast and unchanging love.  Thank You for Your Word and for Your wisdom.  Father thank You for never leaving us and for never forsaking us.   Father we love You, exalt You, and praise You.   There is no one and nothing that compares to You.   

Father today we ask that You go before us and that You make every crooked place straight.   Father we ask that You lead us, guide us, and direct  us.    Father thank You for Your grace that covers us and keep us.   Father strengthen us and deliver us.   We need You Father and we acknowledge our need for You.   

Father Your Word says in I Timothy 2:2 that we are to pray for kings and all that are in authority that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all Godliness and honesty.   Father, we lift up this nation before You right now and we pray for every authoritative figure.   We pray for the president, the cabinet, the city officials, the church leaders, the leaders in the schools, mothers, fathers, grandparents, and any and everyone else that is operating in a position of authority.  Father we pray that they hear Your voice and that do according to Your Word.   Father You are God of all.  This world needs You and it is our prayer that the people in this world will heed to Your voice and Your command in Jesus name ... Amen.
