PRAYER FOR TODAY - August 25, 2015 (Asking God To Empower and To Strengthen Us Where We Are Weak)

Father thank You for all You have done.  Thank You for Your love, Your peace, and Your protection.  Thank You for how You watch over us, shield us, protect us, and keep us.  Father we love You.  We exalt YOU!  We trust and we believe You.   Father thank You for Your steadfast unchanging love for us.    There is no one that compares to You.  There is nothing and no one that can ever replace You.    Father help us to no longer look for substitutes.   Father a substitute is something that is used to replace or exchange something else.  Father there is no substitute for you.   Father forgive us where we have allowed people, places, and things to take priority in our lives.   Father forgive us where we have allowed those things that bring temporary pleasure to lead us in life.   Forgive us for where we have failed to follow you fully and completely.  

Now Father we ask that You help us.  We ask that You lead us and guide us.  Father we ask that You direct our path.   Father show us Your way.   Reveal to us Your will.   Empower and strengthen us where we are weak and help us so that our faith does not fail.    Father You said for us to seek "first" Your kingdom and Your righteousness.   You said to call unto You and You will answer.  Father it is our determined purpose to seek You and to call upon You.   Thank You Father for Your divine direction and deliverance in Jesus name ... amen.
