PRAYER FOR TODAY - August 23, 2014 (Thanking God For Intervening and For Making Our Crooked Paths Straight)

Father thank You.  Thank You for another opportunity to come to You.  Thank You for allowing us to come boldly to Your throne of grace.  Father we love You.  We exalt You.  Father we trust You.   Father You alone are God!   There is none like You and there is no one in heaven or earth that compares to You.   Thank You for loving us and for forgiving us.  Father we praise and exalt You.  Father we surrender all to You.  Father we thank You. 

Now Father we ask that You lead, guide, and direct our footsteps into the "best" that You have prepared for us.  Father we no longer want to take short cuts.  We no longer desire to find our own way.  Father we want to go in the way that You have prepared.   Help us Father.   Help us to wait on You.  Strengthen us where we are weary and weak.   Father show us the next steps that You want us to take.  Father we surrender totally and fully to Your Word and Your will.   Father we plead the blood of Jesus over our lives, over our families, over our friends, over our homes, over our jobs, over our cars, and over everything else that concerns us that is in line with Your Word and Your will for our lives.   Thank You Father for intervening and for making our crooked paths straight.   We love You Lord.  We adore You and we give You all the honor, the glory, and the praise in Jesus name.  Amen

Isaiah 45:1-3 (KJV)

Thus saith the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;
² I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:
³ And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.
