PRAYER FOR TODAY - August 21, 2014 (Thanking God For Newness and Asking God To Take Control)

Thank You Father for this new day.   Father thank You for letting us see newness in our situation.   Where times are hard and things seem unbearable, God You step in and show us newness.   Father the mere fact that it is new means that it is recently created and it replaces what was.   So yesterday is gone and You have given us this new day in You.  

Right now Father we ask that You lead, guide, and direct our footsteps.   Help us Father.  Heal us Father.  Deliver us.   Father we need You.  We need Your love, power, and presence to be prevalent in our lives.  Father we have acknowledged or are acknowledging right now that Jesus is our Lord and Savior and right now we ask that He be Lord over our lives.  We ask that He rule and reign.  That He take control.  We surrender the reigns to You right now in Jesus name.  Amen
