Prayer For Today - October 31, 2011

Father .... peoople are hurting.   People are sick.   People are dying.   Father I ask for your help today.   That you help us see what we need to be doing.   What we can do for those around us.   What we can do to fulfill your will in the earth.   Father I ask that you give us a word in due season for someone else today.   That your words be our words.   That your will be our will.    Help us Father to see you.   To see you in every situation.   To hear you in every situation.   So that we can know what to do and what to say.   Father help us to express you in every situation.   So that your love can be seen in us and flow through us.   

Father I lift those that are hurting today and ask that you take away their pain.   I lift up those who lost loved ones today and I ask that you be their source of comfort.    I lift up those who have needs today and ask that you be Jehovah Jireh .... their provider.    Father I lift up those who just don't know what to do and ask that you be their peace.    Father be who you are.   Do what only you can do.   Bless like only you can.  

Father I trust you to just be you today.   For in you we have all that we need.

Prayer For Today - "Keeping It Real"

Father I just thank you for this day.   I thank you for your goodness....your grace....your mercy.   I thank you for your lovingkindness towards us.   I thank you that you loved us so much that you sent your Son to die on the cross for us.   Father I pray that today will be a new day in our lives where we do all we can for you.   Where we keep it real for you.    When we keep it real Lord, we walk in the reality of who you are.   For there is no falseness in you.   There is no pretense in  you.    You are who you said you are.    Let us be who you said we are.   You are Alpha and Omega....the beginning and the end.   You are the first and the last.....the one the only true God.   Let us be your divine creation.  I pray that we speak and walk the way you created us to speak and walk today.   I pray that we be a reflection of who you are today.   I pray that our words will be seasoned with salt and enhance and uplift whomever we come in contact with today.  

Father I pray that we no longer live our lives as if we are in a show.   Trying to entrain and please other people.   I pray that the only approval and recognition that we seek will come from you.    Father help us today to keep it real in you.   To live our lives in the reality of who you are.  To be a reflection of who you are in the earth.   To be pleasing in your sight.   

Let our lips and our lives line up with who you are....

Prayer For Today - October 29, 2011

Father...today is a new day.   A day where we can look around us and see your goodness....your grace.....your love.....and your mercy.   A day that is filled with you.    A day where you can again show us who you are and what you desire to do in us and through us.   

Father I ask that you go before us today.   Go before us in our thoughts.   Go before us in our hearts.   Go before us in our walk.    I pray that you guide us today and that we recognize your guidance.   I pray for your healing to flow today.    Heal us mentally and physically.   From the inside out.   Let your power flow to us and through us.   Through us to the point that your love, your joy, your peace, and your strength touches not only our lives but the lives of people all around us.  

Lord I pray that our eyes are open to see you.   That our ears are open to hear you.   That our hearts are open to receive you.   

Let who you are....be in us.   Let your love overwhelm us today.   Let us know that there is no place that you are not.   For you said in your word that you would never leave us nor forsake us.   So let our total trust be in you today.....knowing that you are with us wherever we go.

Prayer For You Today.....

Lord, I lift up your people today.   I ask that you move and manifest in their lives today.   That your word and your works be seen in and through them.   That your power and your praise be seen upon them.   Use them Lord to do your will in the earth.    Position them Father to know your plan.   I pray your best over them.  I pray your power over them.   I pray your provision over them.   Be God today.   Be who you are to your people.

PRAYER FOCUS - Insight

Insight is the capacity to gain an accurate and deep understanding of a person or thing.    We need to begin to get an accurate understanding of God.   Of His purpose, of His plan, and of what He wants us to do?

PRAYER FOCUS - Direction (Asking God To Be Your Guide)

Where is it God is taking you?   What is it that God wants you to do?   Do you know?   How do you find out?   So many times in life we move and operate  based on what we think.   We don't have clear direction or perception about anything that is going on around us.    God wants us to be clear.   Clear about where we are going and what we are doing.    Ask God for direction today.....

PRAYER FOCUS - Trust

God wants us to trust Him.   He wants our lives to line up with Him.   It is hard to trust someone you don't know.   You have to become acquainted with Him.   To get to know Him like never before.  

Let's pray that people all over the world will begin to put their trust in God.   That they allow Him to be number one in their lives.

PRAYER FOCUS - The Spirit of Pride

God does not want us to be prideful.   He does not want us to be ashamed of who He is and what He has done.   So many times God will bless a person or deliver a person and the person never thanks God for what He has done.    We have to begin to pray against the spirit of pride.   The spirit that keeps people from His goodness, His grace, and His mercy.   The spirit that causes people to be ungrateful for the things that God has done and is doing.

PRAYER FOCUS - Children

God loves us so much that He has entrusted us with one of most prize possessions.   His children.    We have the awesome opportunity to pour the heart of God into God's children.    Let's pray today for children throughout the earth.    That they see God.   That they hear God.   That they know God.    If we can pour the heart of God into the children....they can reciprocate the plan of God on the earth.

PRAYER FOCUS - Purpose

We need to begin to pray for purpose.   For purpose in our lives and in the lives of those around us.   If you don't know the purpose of a thing you abuse it or you misuse it.   God wants understand to understand our purpose and the purpose for the people, places, and things He has placed in our lives.   

When we understand our purpose, we can then be more effective in the earth.
