Today let’s
stop about some things we “must” know and understand in order to get our
prayers answered.
1.
We need to know first of all that God wants to
answer our prayers. So often we pray
in hope that God will answer. We have
to “know” that it is His desire to answer our prayers that are in line with His
word.
2.
Which leads me to the second thing we must understand. Our prayer must line up with God’s
word. We need to begin to find
scriptures that coincide with our request to God.
3.
Next, we must remember to ask the Father, in
Jesus’ name and believe at the point of the request that you receive the
answer. Again, not just hoping for an
answer, but believing you receive the answer. It is at this very point that your faith
fight begins. Because it is at this
point that you have to override what you see with what you believe.
4.
In order for you to believe what you are praying
for, you must take control of your thoughts.
Your thought life must stay in line with what you believe.
5.
Next, you must avoid “confrontation” with people
who are not in agreement with you. When
someone is not in agreement with you, they tend to attack your faith instead of
undergirding it.
6.
Next you have to understand … how you think,
plays a part in what you believe. You
must begin to think and see yourself with the promises of God and you have to
constantly think on God’s goodness, grace, love, and mercy.
7.
You must walk in expectancy. You have to expect God to answer your
prayers that are in line with His word.
8.
Last … YOU MUST WALK STEADFAST IN YOUR
FAITH.
