Father, You said in Ephesians 6:10-12 that we are to be strong in You and the power of Your might. So today Father we are putting on the armor that You have given us so that we can stand against the tricks, traps, and attacks of the enemy.
For we know today Father that this battle that we are in is not against flesh and blood but it is against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual wickedness in high places.
So today, we shift our focus. We will not look at the people that are coming against but instead we will recognize that they are only vessels that have yielded to the rulers of darkness and we will fight this fight on our knees in prayer with the expectation of You divinely intervening on our behalf.
Father, we have girded ourselves with Your truth and we have on the breastplate of righteousness. Father we are moving forward with You with our feet shod with the gospel of peace.
Father, we are holding up our shield of faith so that we can put out every fiery dart that the enemy is sending against us through anyone and anything he chooses to use and we are allowing Your Word to cover our hearts and our minds and to help us to rightly discern the in all situations concerning our lives. Thank You Father for helping us and thank You for divinely intervening on our behalf in Jesus' name, amen.

Ephesians 6:10-18

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
