PRAYER FOR TODAY - August 21, 2018 (Asking God To Heal Us, Let His Peace Overtake Us, and To Let His Light Be Seen Through Us)

Father thank You for going before us today and for making our crooked places straight.  Thank You for leading us, guiding us, and for blessing us.   Thank You Father for showing us who we are in You.    

Father we surrender all to You.  We surrender our hearts, our minds, our families, our friends, our churches, our jobs, and everyone and everything else that concerns our lives to You.   We ask that You move in and for us right now.   Help us Father to see, know, and to do Your will.   Help us to not lean on our own understanding but to acknowledge You in all our ways so that You can direct our every footstep in life.      

Father we ask that You do in us and for us what only You can.  Father we ask that You heal our bodies and meet our every need.   Father we know that You are God alone and we know that You watch over Your Word to perform it in our lives.   Father let Your love flow freely in us and to us.   Let Your peace overtake us.   Father strengthen and bless us.   Father let Your light be seen through us and let Your joy overflow in us.   Father let Your love not only flow to us but let it also flow through us into the lives of others  in Jesus name ... Amen.

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
