PRAYER FOR TODAY - January 6, 2016 (Thanking God For Cleansing Us, Quickening Us, and For Restoring Us)

Father thank You for Your loving kindness.   Thank You for Your power and Your grace.   Thank You Father for every blessing.   Father today we just want to say thank You.   Thank You for loving us and for keeping us.   Thank You Father for restoring us.   Father when we look at the meaning of the word restore, it means to bring back to previous state.   Father thank You for bringing us back to You.   Thank You for never leaving us nor forsaking us.  Even when we didn’t do everything right, You still loved us and never gave up on us.  

Father today we ask that You strengthen us.   Father if there are areas in our lives where we are weak, we ask that You be our strength.    For Your Word says that in our weakness You are strong.   Father we ask that You lead, guide, and direct our footsteps.   Father it is our desire to walk in obedience to Your will and Your Word.   So we ask that You show us Your way.   Father we thank You for Your Holy Spirit that resides on the inside of us to keep us on track.   Thank You for quickening us in regards to Your Word.   To quicken means to stimulate and to accelerate.   Father it is our desire to be quick to obey You and Your Word.  Father we understand that when something stimulates, it is restorative.   When something is restorative and it has within it the ability to restore health, strength, or a feeling of well-being.   Thank You Father for the restoring us.  Thank You for cleansing us and for renewing a right spirit within us in Jesus name … Amen.
