PRAYER FOR TODAY - September 20, 2020 (Asking God To Remove The Distractions)

Father this is a new day in You.  You have brought us into this new day to commune with You.  You want us to focus on You, to talk to You, and to get intimate with You.   Help us Father.   Help us to release everything that has held us back from doing just that.   Whatever it is that has held us in captivity and kept us from being free to get into Your presence, we ask that You remove it right now.   Remove every distraction Father.   All those things that keep popping up and keep occupying our time to where we don't have time to be intimate with You.   Remove them now Father. 

Father we need You.   We need You to help us.   We need You to heal us.   We need You to move in this world like never before.   We need You.   Father we are crying out to You and we know that You hear our cry.    

Father do in us and for us what only You can.   Father Your Word says that You are the Lord God that heals.   We ask that You bring healing to the land.   Father Your Word says that You know the things we have need of and You are faithful and just to provide us with those needs.   Father we ask that You do just that now.   Father You said that in our weakness, You are strong.   We need Your strength right now.    Father be who You are to us.    Be who You are for us.    Be who You are with us. 

Thank You Father for never leaving us and for never forsaking us.   Our trust and hope are in You.   We ask that You honor Your Word in our lives in Jesus name ... Amen.
