PRAYER FOR TODAY - December 19, 2016 (Remembering It's Not About How Many Gifts You Get or Give and Thanking God For Giving Us The Greatest Gift Of All, His Son Jesus)

Father it doesn't stop right here.   Thank You Father for this new day that You have given us.  Thank You for letting us know that we have hope in You.   Father no matter what is going on in our lives at this given point, we know that it is in You that we live, we breathe, and we have our being.  We know that You can make a way where there appears to be no way.   We know that You can heal us, provide for us, and deliver us.   Thank You Father for Your steadfast and unchanging love.

Father help us to not forget the reason for this season.   It's not about how many gifts we can give or get.   Father it's all about the gift You have already given.   For truly Father, You have given the best gift of all.    You have given us Your Son and it is because of Your Son that we now have eternal life and we say thank You.

Thank You Father for going before us and for making every crooked place straight.   Thank You for healing us, delivering us, providing for us, and for giving us eternal life.    Thank You Father for Your steadfast and unchanging love in Jesus name ... Amen.
