PRAYER FOR TODAY - July 11, 2014 (Praying For Our Leaders)

Thank You Father for your faithfulness.  For You are faithful Father.   Father we love You.   We exalt You.   We praise You and we adore You.   Now Father we ask that You move and manifest in our lives like never before.   

Father today we lift up our leaders before You.   The leaders of our countries, the leaders of our states, the leaders of our cities, the leaders of our churches, the leaders on our jobs, the leaders in our schools, and the leaders in our homes.   Father we lift them all up before you today.    Help them.  Direct them.  Show them Your will, purpose, and plan.   Father You said in your word that we are to pray for all who are in authority so that we may lead a quiet and peaceful life.   Father we are doing what You told us to do.   Now we thank you for the peace that you have promised in Jesus name.  Amen. 

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— ² for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. ³ This is good, and pleases God our Savior…”
